KC is an oil painter, born in Cumbria, living and working from her studios in Surrey, UK and Estepona, Spain. Her semi figurative patins centre on women’s experience of being in the body, combining oil, drawing and text in psychologically charged works.
Aphantasio - the absence of mental imagery - is an important part of her painting process and the way her images develop.
She has studied with Nicholas Wilton”s Contemporary Art Academy, and has been mentored artist Nick Malone. She is represented with Wychwood Ar,t is Founder of BlueHouse artspace and mentors artists through Creative Shift.
KC established her art practice in 2020, following a 30 -year career as a psychotherapist working with survivors of trauma and violence.
Her work has been exhibited across the UK and is in private collections in the UK, Europe and the USA. in 2026, her Painting Mana was selected by Omaze in 2026 for the Surrey House Draw in support of Over The Wall Camp Children’s Charity
